The climate and ecological emergency is a trauma inflicted on all beings by white supremacy. Our demand for a just transition starts with how we show up in our organizing. As important as an intellectual understanding of racism and the desire to be anti-racist is, these alone will not address the habitual embodiment of racism. In this weekly circle we learn ways to heal from trauma and to unlearn embodied, racialized behaviors.
Come to the studio to create protest art together. We have many projects in the works and will share snacks, stories, paint and laughs.
The Carnival of Collapse is a portable, interactive fun/ dark-humored public outreach event for social media amplification. We will have games, and characters such as Madame Methane, and Trillionaire Clown for Trump, and music to show off the evil nature of Public-less (Publicis) and their fossil fuel companies. Madam Methane and her many bubbles await you.

The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.

These mega financial institutions have invested hundreds of billions of dollars in recent years in the fossil fuel industry. They are funding the 6th mass extinction. We respond with protest; peaceful, mindful community gatherings where we connect, chat, hold signs, meditate, and acknowledge indigenous suffering and land ethics. Join us!
Extinction Rebellion NYC heads into summer with a series of weekly organizing meetings. Come to hear XRNYC's leaders talk about this moment in our climate and political crisis, and how XRNYC takes action; tell us about how you have taken action to resist oppression; and plan the coming week's activities to work for justice and liberation.
Listening Circles provide a community space where we can share and witness our vulnerabilities, joys and griefs, and whatever is alive for each of us in the moment. It is also a place where we learn and practice skills for enhancing resilience and building capacity for creating the change we want to see.
This Circle is being held online only. After registering, you will receive the Zoom link.

Is the state of our democracy and climate truly distressing you? The antidote is action. We are protesting at the museum in an effort to get them to adequately educate people and declare a climate emergency. We are connecting the dots of corruption. The museum's board is clearly in the pockets of the fossil fuel industry as most of them earn megabucks from fossil fuel investments or from being board members. The museum is a microcosm of corruption that we can fight. Join us in a beautifully curated action complete with songs, banners and interactive parts for everyone! 5/4/25
Come to the studio to practice for Sunday's (5/4/25) American Museum of Natural History Action. We have songs, musical instruments, speeches to practice. We also have lots of cool XR swag to make including silk-screening and block printing. Come be part of the creative hive. Please bring some food to share. You never know what you will find at the studio in dumbo; the possible is here.
