Nonviolent civil disobedience is a necessary and powerful way to take action to halt the climate emergency. This NVDA training will explore the basics of NVDA theory, how and why NVDA has the power to drive change, and how XR utilizes NVDA to realize our demands. This training will also provide basic information on de-escalation during actions, risking arrest, police interactions and your rights. If you are interested in demonstrating your non-cooperation with the system, whether by risking arrest or not, this training is an important step. Join us!
