Extinction Rebellion New York is co-hosting the online screening of the award-winning documentary Normal Is Over 1.1 with the filmmaker, Renée Scheltema.

The suggested donation is split between the film maker and XRNYC. Should a donation be a hardship for any reason whatsoever, a free ticket is available if you email xrnyc.events@gmail.com.

- Watch the film at any time between now and April 14 using the link in the digital links section of Eventbrite. Tickets can be purchased here. Once you have signed-up you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite giving you access to 'LINKS FOR THE EVENT' - click on this and it will take you to a digital links page, scroll to the very bottom of this page where you will see 'SCREEN THE FILM HERE' and a code which you should copy and paste, click the play button under 'SCREEN THE FILM HERE' and this will take you to the film website. Once on the film website hit 'GET IT NOW" and enter the code in the discount code section - this will give you access to the film.

Film Synopsis: Normal Is Over 1.1 is an award-winning documentary about humanity's wisest response to climate change, species extinction, resource depletion, income inequality and the link between these issues. COVID19 is a symptom of how we have been exploiting the planet, and relates to the film’s story of combating global decline. This film is a globe- trotting journey searching for SOLUTIONS.
