Nonviolent civil disobedience is a necessary and powerful way to take action to halt the climate emergency. This online NVDA training will explore the basics of NVDA theory, how and why NVDA has the power to drive change, and how XR utilizes NVDA to realize our demands. We’ll also provide basic information on de-escalation during actions, risking arrest, police interactions and your rights.
If you are interested in demonstrating your non-cooperation with the system, whether by risking arrest or not, this training is an important step. Join us!
**This NVDA training will be specifically geared towards preparing for the Save our City Action on Monday, October 25th. This XR mass action, a collaboration with Sunrise, targets Biden to pass the climate bill and #SaveOurCity.
