The Summer of Heat coalition will shut down Wall Street for 10 weeks, demanding that banks, investors, and insurance companies stop funding the fossil fuel industry. XRNYC and XR NE will support the Week 3 of the campaign, June 24 to 28.
As we transition into a new season, let’s find some moments to rejuvenate and connect. Come have a picnic with us in the green at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 3. We’ll bring food, music, and activities; you’ll bring sunscreen and your warm presence. We will take the afternoon to embrace life on earth, or contemplate ways to preserve the planet and our future, or just mingle and make some new friends.
