This training is for experienced XR nonviolent direct action (NVDA) participants that want to train others to participate in XR NVDA
The training will include a review of key concepts, facilitation, and practical skills, with a focus on trust-building. The training will provide a clear roadmap for becoming an XR NYC NVDA Trainer. It is encouraged that participants in this training will have previously attended a Heading for Extinction talk, and an Orientation (formerly Welcome) Call - as well as having had experience participating in XR NYC arrestable direct actions, and preferably (but not mandatory to attend) have had the experience of getting arrested in NYC, at one of the actions.
